Are you an organised and methodical Practice Assistant looking for a new role in an established, successful international law firm?

You'll be working in the Corporate team, who work with emerging companies to market-leading businesses in fast-moving, innovative industries including software, biotech, digital communications, life sciences, healthtech and financial services. This includes guiding them through the start-up process, venture capital financings, M&A, private equity transactions, exits and listings on the public markets.

In this busy and varied role, you'll work with specified Partners or Senior Fee Earners to provide proactive, timely and high quality administrative support. You'll manage a busy workload and take responsibility for tasks through to completion.

Duties will be broad and include:

Acting as first point of contact for fee-earners including fielding calls, emails, correspondence and meeting requests
Full proactive and advanced calendar management
Ensuring fee-earners are fully prepared for client meetings
Work closely with internal teams to plan and deliver client care including meetings, events and mailings
Use of the billing system to prepare and issue timely and accurate bills to clients
Support fee-earners with the client lifecycle, following procedures and chasing fee-earners and clients for any missing information
Organising events
Researching company and client information
Preparing, amending and proof-reading documents

Ideally, you'll have experience in an administrative role and be used to supporting a team within professional services environment (ideally legal) along with the following:

Excellent time management and attention to detail
A flexible approach to work
Strong team player
Great communication and interpersonal skills
High levels of discretion




Monday-Friday – Full time
